Today, I had to go with my father to the small Texas town that my family is from for a funeral of a distant cousin. It made me reminisce about what cars/trucks we used to cruise around in on Friday nights when I visited during HS (Mid-1990s). Here are some of them.

Post the cruising mobiles that you and your friends rode around in during your teens. Let's all think about those glorious days when the only worries we had was how much gas we had in our tanks!

The small town scene there was Coach-customized single cab Silverados with 350s (few 4x4s due to the fact that the fields were just marsh/swamps), fast Mustangs/Camaros, and many Pontiac Grand Ams because "You drive whatever I give you and I don't care if Becky's parents got her a Mustang!!!".

Their heads would have exploded if you had rolled up in a Merc wagon.

Exactly the response I would want!

I guess you could call where I'm from a 'small town'... Do affluent suburbs (per Wikipedia) count?

Where I actually grew up is classified as that as well. But MAN was it fun to go back to the small town. A different world.

Hey, I grew up in a small town! Also did the cruising in the mid '90s. These pics are representative, but are good examples of what we cruised in:

Obviously you're a B-series man.

EDIT: Wait shit, I don't think that's a B series. Carry on.

It's an '80s Toyota pickup. Mine looked like this except it was metallic maroon and didn't have the shell. Factory turbo truck, too. I still miss it :'(

I thought it was a Yota cab. The lights and slope of the hood threw me off.
