I had to break these out for a throttle cable pinch bolt, and I stopped to take a photo when I realized how silly it looked.

Those things are just hilarious.

Also, you need to talk about your cars more, because I didn't know you had a Mini.

Those need to be...like...3-times as big!

Actually, that would still be the wrong size. They'd be too big then.

When I got a set of MAC metric hex wrenches, I got one in the set that was under 1mm. It looks like a small black wire in a 'L' shape.

So I keep one of these on my keys at all times. Makes a great keyring. I put it on there when I was younger and I thought I was cool. I wanted EVERYONE to know I was the car guy, and obviously they spent all their time looking at my keys, so it was perfect!

Anyway, the very day I decided to put it on I was riding in a friend's Mini and suddenly we lost all power. Car just dropped to idle and in the middle of nowhere we rolled to a stop looking like a right pair of twats. I take a look under the bonnet and stand up saying "No fucking way." Pull my keys out of my pocket and tighten up the throttle cable that had worked it's way loose.

The car gods love Minis. No other explanation for it.

Can confirm, some of these came with my craftsman tool kit. They come on a keychain. I used mine for a brake bleed, and they worked well enough.

Not really sure what I'd use a 4.5mm on, but if I ever need it, I got it!

I have a set that we use to bleed the brakes on our Lemon. They work in a pinch. Also, I want the Mini in the background.

I was actually going to say something quite similar - in order to bleed the rear drums of an '01 Civic, you need wrenches of a similar size. Of course, knowing me, I didn't find that out until I had to do it. Luckily a friend of mine had a set small enough, and was able to give me a hand.
