Dat Enzo. I have the beetle. The cars that I'm trying to progam this for is the 8865, 8880, 8448, and 8070. So far I can get the bar to raise when a car pulls up, but I can't get it to go back down after it leaves.

You could make a speed bump sensor that lifts the gate when pushed. Then when released have a delay to allow the cars through. I loved messing with mindstorm in HS. I would spend hours making either the biggest trucks or really fast dragsters. Figured out that two motors with a big to small ratio behind the rear wheels is the fastest.

It is fun! My local museum runs a Mindstorm summer class, so I get to play around with the new EV3 (because I'm a TA). I haven't attempted to make a car yet, but it is on my list.
