What's your favorite car from a manufacturer you generally dislike?
I'm not a fan on Toyota in the current state of beige they're in, but I'd buy a 4-Runner.
It's a (relatively) small SUV that I think looks good.
I'd have mine in Trail trim in Nautical Blue Metallic.

I used to like BMW. Really. Now, they're lineup is bloated and confusing. I'd rock a diesel 3 series though.

Idk if I can choose between these two. But am NSX. And an S2000. Not a fan of Honda

Final Toyota Supra.

Not a huge fan of Hyundai, just nothing really for me. But I'd totally go for an Equus if I had the chance.

That's a tough choice. I'd probably go NSX though.

I feel the same about Hyundai as you, but damn I'd rock a new Genesis.

Either a 328d Wagon or a 228i would be my Bimmer of choice.

In theory, I agree with your 4Runner choice. But when I drove one (an '06 V8 Limited) while searching for a winter vehicle, I kinda hated it. Ended up with a Grand Cherokee instead.
As for myself...

Yeah they're both so different and so great in their own right. But I think I would too.

Im somewhat the same. But I'm excited for where they're heading. I do like the genesis coupe though. Just needs more refinement.

New cars: I don't care for BMWs, but the new Z4 is just mmmmmmmmmmmmm
Old cars: I'm not a fan of Chevy except for all of the Corvettes. All of them.

I'm sure I'd end up with a GC as well. But if I was forced to chose one Toyota model, it'd have to be this.

Currently? Kia Optima.

I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I generally don't like Toyota but I adore the FJ Cruiser.
Honda I don't like, but I'm wildly intrigued by the S2000.
Don't really care for Hyundai, but I love the looks of the Genesis Coupe. Now if they made it with that V8 I'd be a massive fan.

It's a shame the FJ is being killed after this year.
Weren't Hyundai planning on putting a V8 for a while? Because it would be a Mustang and Camaro rival with that much power under it's hood.

It does suck that the FJ is going away. A friend of mine just picked one up in dark green with a stick! Truly a unicorn. I told her to never sell it, but if she did I'd buy it haha
I haven't heard of Hyundai shoehorning a V8 into the Genesis Coupe, but I'd imagine that would scalp a bunch of prospective Camaro or Mustang buyers. Hell, I'd even be temped by it. Not gonna lie.

The Genesis Coupe is already second on my "pony car" list, only losing to the Camaro. But if they shoved their 5.0 V8 under the hood, it's number 1.

The first gen Hyundai Genesis sedan, with the 5.0 V8.

the only car BMW is making that I find remotely interesting. In fact, it's really cool, but as for the rest of BMW's line up- meh.

Chevy Spark.

I classify Mercedes with two eras - pre 1990s and after. Anything before the 1990s, I love. Afterwards though? Not so much. I don't care much for modern Mercs. I'm not a fan of their AMG models. And I think the CLA45 is beyond ridiculously expensive.
But, there's always been one modern Merc I wouldn't mind having in a heartbeat.
Oh yeah.

I like the new Corolla. That is conditional, though, on seeing what the interior's like. The last-gen Corolla I had as a rental car had such a terrible interior.

I'd have to say the 3rd ten CTS. I'm not a cadillac nor GM fan by any means, but holy shit, the current CTS is actually the best car in all aspects GM has ever made. No, I ail never regret saying that (barring the C7, because everyone knows GM will never make anything better than the Corvette) But seriously, the new CTS? Probably the most perfect american car ever made.

If its a current car, Porsche Cayman. If its a car no longer in production, Toyota Supra.

Honestly, I don't think it would take many more than it already does. When it comes down to it, most anyone interested in a V8 pony car is going to stick to the established models.

They'd need to do some tuning to the Tau, cuz its a pretty lazy engine in comparison to the LS and Coyote which it would be up against.
![]() 05/10/2014 at 01:36 |

Ya I agree. The Genesis V6 turbo is already outrageously expensive and that's why there's not a bunch of them out there. If they cut the price and dropped a bigger/different engine in the car, it could be a winner.

Opel Zafira "A" OPC

Lexus IS250 F-sport.
I seriously dislike all lexu-i besides this one on ther currnet line-up
another exception is the 2nd and 3rd gen LS's

Scion FR-S. I REALLY hate Toyota. But because this is basically a Subaru underneath, I don't mind. If I were to buy one of the twins, I would still pick the BRZ though.
Buick Regal GS. I also really hate Buick, but this car is awesome.

I was going to choose Acura. But man, I don't even like any of their cars enough to be worth the post. I think this would be my choice:
6mt Of Course.

We're in the same boat with Benz, but I'd take an SLS or SLR any day of the week.

I'll have to agree with you. The CTS is perfect in just about every sense. It's amazing what 10 years of trial and error can do to a car.

I was going to chose the Toyobaru, but technically it's sold as a scion and they have a couple cars I actually like.
But I will agree with the Regal GS, it's really the only exciting car Buick makes. The normal Regal isn't bad either. And the LaCross in pretty much an old FWD American Luxo-Barge.

This would be about what I would chose. Maybe the Civic Si.

I know right. kinda lame that it's just a vinyl wrap though.
