Oh Craigslist. You never seem to fail at making me laugh. Here today we have an ad for a 2011 Impala with a salvage title for $6500

The ad reads:

2011 chevy impala has salvage title DMV SALVAGE INSPECTION ALREADY DONE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE INSPECTED CAN BE REGISTERD RIGHT AWAY this was due to minor water damage runs and drives great needs minor work engine light on, had it checked for engine light they said it was o2 sensor, still runs and drives great 37k miles nice body and interior b.o. around $6500 call Russ !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no emails or text will not be answered !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

REALLY? An 02 sensor? Why does it seem like no matter what, if the light is on, the O2 sensor is to blame? It had nothing to do with the water that made the car considered a total loss?

Why do I not believe this either? Maybe because there are NO PICTURES! or maybe because the car was FLOODED!

I have a feeling it looks more like this.

Please Craigslist sellers, BE REAL! The car is junk! No one should pay $6500 for this!

I want to buy a 2006 impala for cheap and list it as a 2013 for double the money. They are almost indistinguishable, especially to an average buyer.
