There was a great ceremony on Canada's Parliament Hill today marking the National Day of Honour for Canada's Veterans of Afghanistan. (Pic of APC column after ceremony)
Although I and the entire country is proud of all our Afghanistan veterans who have served with honour and distinction, I am especially proud of my lifelong friends in Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. (Or as the army calls it "PPCLI").
Princess Patricia's is full of men and woman whom are great friends, great soldiers and great Canadians. Many tips of the hat to you fine folks!!
Of course, we will never forget the 158 Canadian soldiers who never saw their home again. If you would like to learn more about Canada's war casualties you can click !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

This song below is about Canada's unique repatriation ceremony for our fallen. We will never forget you, soldiers.

We always called em Picklies. Or the Princess Pats. Still a better name than the Van Doos.
