Ladies and gents, let's think of something crazy. A future concept. A past that never was. Make it look/sound as real as possible.

Kinja'd!!!

This challenge can be pure description of custom unit using existing materials...An AWD Mustang GT, with RWD mode, Acura NSX with a 5.0 BOSS engine...Or given disposable income, would you stick an 2JZ-GTE in an E30. Mashups.

Or it can be a completely new (or retro) ride. Name your manufacturer, platform, wheelbase, powerplant, # of pillars, year of manufacture.) Give us your one-liner or better yet, a sketch/render of your imaginary vehicle...props for making up your own badge.

Example: 2018 Ford Escort RS (iDx fighter, BAM)

My imaginary car? A J Motors FR4 xt. FR platform. 107. 4-liter camless v6 with twin sequential turbos. AWD with sport rwd drive mode. Comes in Convertible and Fasthatch ....I'll draw it someday.

1. Turbo rotary engine in an awd Acura Integra.

2. 2jz-gte in a Rwd manual Toyota Previa

its already been done:

Artz later transplanted the engine from a Porsche 928S and the entire interior into a Golf. Of course, to make everything fit, he had to widen the Golf. Its top speed was 155 mph.

A (fictional) Le Mans/Trans Am racer second gen Barracuda. But, it would be a 'lightweight' edition. A 340 or 383 with 450-500hp. Steelies. And an awesome livery. It's not very courageous, but that would be my dream vintage muscle car. Sort of like the Trans Am Falcon, but done with the 67-69 Barracuda.

AWD Toyota GT86, full wrc spec, with full safari rally kit (snorkel, roo bars, extra spare tire on the roof), with Castrol livery.

A modern, panamera based 928. They'd have the optional "928 Classic" that would have modern phone dial wheels and this pattern seat and door inserts.

I wish people (tastefully) modified muscle cars like they do 911s (RWB) 240zs, and FRS/BRZs. If they do it's always a Camaro. No one fucks with Mopars.

Mine would be a new Prelude. Stay with me:

- Stretched Civic platform (nothing crazy, just a few inches)

- Tuned up DI K24 from the new Accord routing power to the front wheels through a 6MT

- Motors in the back running the back wheels, similar to the new RLX

- Use of aluminum and high-strength steel to keep curb weight to 3000 lbs

- Total system output: 250hp/210tq

- 0-60 in 5.5 seconds and 30+ mpg @ 31-32k

I've got a few:
1. Let's start off nice an easy: 2014 VW Jetta VR6 TDI. Use the Diesel V6 from a touareg and stick it in a Jetta with 4-Motion. This would make a great family car/long distance cruiser.

Subaru XV Crosstrek XT. 256hp Crosstrek with a manual would be amazing! like a fozz XT, only lighter!

Mazda RX-9 Electric motors and rotary engines would offset each others weaknesses. The electric motors would give it torque and lower emissions, while the rotary gives the high revving horsepower while being relatively light. It would be a sporty 2+2 GT combining the styles of the RX-8 and FD RX-7.

Another idea is take the drivetrain (minus gearbox which would be swapped for a M6) from an MDX. 3.7l v6 with 300 hp and torque with SH-AWD tune it up a bit and put it in a lightweight 5 door hatch

Third idea. Porsche's Racing V4 swapped into a race prepped 914. Better yet Porsche actually builds a new 914.

Six wheels. 1930s design. Split hood, split windshield, at least 25 feet long. A tank/airplane engine and enough Art Deco to make your great-grandfather's mistress weep.

I'm not joking.
