Then why in gods name are tube chassis so bad in the wet? Think of the lack of tubey rally cars. The lack of kit cars on the snow. THE LACK OF TUBEY TUBES DRIFTING ON THE WET STREET OF PIKES PEAK!!!!! OH THE HORROR GAHHHHH.........

pipes and tubes are dimensioned different ways :) pipes have standard od's and varying id's and tubes are opposite.

yea lemme get all nerd on y'all pipes are specified interior dimension to calulate flow of crap like poop and stuff if its a sewer pipe. Tubing is for structures where the outside dimension needs to be accurate consistent.

However in civil engineering we talk about "36 inch concrete pipes" meaning an ID of 36".

All pipes have od's bigger than their respective nominal dimensions though.
