I'd never buy a minivan but if I absolutely *had* to, I'd rock a first-gen facelifted Sienna to run a foreign grocery store.

I know you live in the USA; is the foreign grocery store you would run in Canada?

Dude! I ran the ragnar relay last summer. To run the race we borrowed that exact same sienna as you have pictured for our support vehicle. I was mighty impressed. Very spacious. It fit 6 swassy adults in there no problem and was quite comfortable. Seemed to have plenty of power to ascend up the non paved mountain passes with ease. Would buy if I could have more than 3 kids

Yeah I used to be driven to and from school in one during elementary and middle school. Comfy things.

The SC. The LE wasn't worth it. (I have both - unfortunate that some hack got of hold of the wiring harness in the SC and completely and totally mystified it without total replacement. Hate electrical debugging in cars.)

In my experience, minivans have something going for them that other vehicles don't (at the cost/mileage/comfort point of view.) You Don't Have To Pack. You just open the doors, shovel stuff inside and roll. It's a serious time saver if you can compromise on performance and cool.
