Gawker Tech Request - Posts Comments

In private view, there is an option to view all of your posts. When you select this, you see all posts, but you also see every single comment you've ever made on other users' posts. This often makes it a challenge to go back and find one of your old posts, since it may be buried under a mountain of comments.

I'd love to see the option added to view posts separately from comments, and I'm guessing others here on OPPO and other Kinja blogs would as well.

When you are in private view click on the little arrow next to your avatar.

Then click "manage davesaddiction"

Uncheck the box that says "Include my replies on the front page of my blog"

Once you do this anyone (not just you) who clicks on your name will only see what you have posted and not your comments. The only people that will see all your comments are people who follow you because they will show up in their private view.

If you click on my name you can see an example of what your blog would look like.

Thanks! Never knew that was there. I uncheck that box, but when I hit Save, nothing happens. Tried it a few times already. Hmm...

Anyone else having an issue with this?

Huh, I don't know. I'm pretty sure I set mine up like this before Tiger, so maybe that's the problem. I'm having problems displaying the list of people I'm following and I know that was working recently, so maybe they're messing with the settings menus?
