This is how I drive all winter long. Thankfully I have better/deeper snow to drive on than the dusting shown in this video.

After 2 e28s with no LSD, the 3rd with LSD makes winter so much more fun! I can start from a stop on hills now!

I think it's in every teenager-manchild to take their RWD to the industrial area and drift like a 'professional', it helped me to learn my car's reaction/predictability a little better at 16 ys/o, even with a 2.4L SOHC you can still have some sort of fun.
