Don't man! Unless it is one of those finals where you have to memorize. In which case go ahead. If not, rest is proven more effective than cramming. I was there for years sir.

Well I have caluclated it. If I start at 12pm tomorrow, I will have 32 hours to study for the test. Fun fact though, I did better on the test I studied less for in this class. . .

I'm pulling an all-nighter right now. I read that article earlier. Maybe it'll come in handy for you.

Good luck.

only if you've done it before...

I've always studied from 7am, and fry out by 6pm and then get some decent sleep. my next surgical exams are going to be during full time work though, so may have to wave goodbye to sleep. Gotta love the health system

I've always been like that. The less I prepare for something the better I do. On my end however is because I always psyche myself out. I would honestly get some good rest. Sleep in, study well (AKA no oppo) for 8 hours and rest some more. You will wake up feeling much better than if you sleep less, no matter how much study you get.

I can never do that. I start studying around 5pm and then I end up getting bored by 4am, take a 2 hour break and then finish up. Rinse and repeat until I am ready for a test. I for some reason can't concentrate during the day, but at night I know what I am doing.

Sleep is a critical part of memory formation. You'll get much better results if you sleep after a few hours of cramming than if you try and work through the night. It's really as important to sleep properly as to read the books, if not more so given that sleep deprivation will also worsen your exam performance.

A friend is right now at the school library studying and wont go home until next night.
A method that 50/50 works, is to say "fuck it", just sleep and arrive to the exam.
20 min before the exam, take a glance at your notes. And then get down to business.

Amen. No matter what happened and how far into my studying I was, I always went to bed at 10:30PM the day before an exam. Common sense and good use of your knowledge can do miracles, and you need sleep for those two to work.
