Boss gave me another chance to lie to him about my job again today. I did not seize the opportunity. I will be a man that goes down with honor. I'm done lying. Thats why I want to get out of sales in the first place.

After my transfer out of sales and to the tech team fell through, I started looking for other jobs. I was told that as long as I kept producing that I was fine to do so and safe. Now my boss is pushing me towards the door because of my job hunting. I most likely will get my 60 day notice next week because I didn't lie about my search.

Having held positions of responsibility in MSP companies, I'm sorry. Genuinely, truly, madly, deeply, sorry.

Ahh thank you. Not all of my MSP customers are friendly, but the one man shops out there usually turn out to be pretty good guys.

Believe it or not, you don't have to lie to be in sales. I don't. Well, not to my customers anyway :)

I have been instructed to "just say yes" to any and all objectional questions by the same managers now trying to force me out.

Oh wonderful. Let's see - probably 'just say yes and let engineering figure out to make it happen...we just sell"....or similar, right?

More like "just say yes, and let's hope they don't test that during the trial"
