Not a wagon, but a turbo/manual Volvo on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Volvo-S70-…

Neat. I've driven a non turbo auto s70, and I enjoyed it. I'm sure a turbo would be awesome.

My Mom had a turbo 850. It was so awesome riding in the 3rd seat when my Dad would drive. It was so fast.

Goddammit that's clean! Admittedly, I did not know that it was possible to get non-leather seating...

I only got to experience that in friends parents cars as a child. My mom always had SUVS, (Ford Explorer, Dodge Durango, 4 Honda Pilots, Ford Flex, and Volvo XC60) Maybe when the XC60 lease is up, I can talk her into a V60.

The inside looks like it is brand freakin new. It must have been owned by someone wh0 took car care to the extreme.

We got rid of it for a then new '05 Impala w/ the 3.4... Don't feel bad about your Mom driving SUV's. The Impala was much, muchhhhh more reliable though. I have good memories with Volvo's though. My Dad's 240 was the first car I ever got sideways.

Oh god. I'm so sorry.

We got a '02 Trailblazer not long after that to replace the 240(that is still wasting away in my parents yard). I always chose to drive it when I got my permit and license, until I got my 4Runner. The Impala has been replaced with a sort of fun car though, it's an '09 Vibe GT.

I can't say much bad about the Impala though. In the 100k miles we had it, we had to replace the water pump. That was it. It got well over 30 MPG (37 on our way back from the Outer Banks) and it was super comfortable.

Doesn't the vibe gt have the bigger 2.4 from the Camry?

Yep, it's pretty peppy. It handles pretty well for something based off of a Corolla.

NP? I know close to nothing about these cars other than my grandma's neighbor owned one for a few years haha

Never knew they did this in a stick.

I've said it before, but considering that there are (apparently) so many people over on your side of the Atlantic that appreciates Volvos, please come and take a few of ours! I think that something like 25-30% of all cars I see are Volvos over here, and that makes it very hard to get excited over one. Many of them are manual, as well. Look, I even found you a brown one! Just take it away from us.

edit: If the link works, this should be a list of 254 brown Volvo station wagons with manual gearboxes. Take your pick! We'll throw a gift card from IKEA into the deal. http://www.bytbil.com/bilar/sokresul… !

Well, I guess I can take it off your hands, assuming you are paying for it and shipping to North Carolina.

Neither did I. I especially love the fact that this one is a abosolute barebones model. That plus being a manual probably makes this quite a rare car in the US.

Hmm. What's the rust situation in North Carolina? If it's as good as in California or Texas, we could start a Volvo-Miata exchange program. Or a Volvo-Mercedes program if that's better.

there is not much of a rust problem here.

Very nice! These are some great cars. I''ve had many Volvos, and I love my S60 T5 manual. These cars make superb highway burners

I drove Dad's 760 turbo through France and back once. The car survived it, the tires did not.

Sadly I never was old enough to drive the 850. It never would run right and the local Volvo specialist or dealer couldn't figure it out, so we got rid of it.
