You have to buy original parts from the 70s. When these parts are made of plastic, everything goes to shit and cracks. I'm battling with the inside of my door panels because the main structural bits have cracked and yeah... not good.

Might be worth it to save up for some decent replicas and put off the project for a bit. I've done that a few times and it helped me out immensely down the road.

I should see if my friend still has any 2nd gen F body parts you might need, I don't know how much stuff he got rid of but he used to have a metric ass load since he's owned at least 10 F bodies in his life. I know he still has a ton of SBC parts and a complete 350. Want to do a TPI swap? lol
