That's all the money for a condition 1 GTS.

It will never go up, or down.
It is a flat market, so technically it loses value just due to inflation of the dollar.

It's weird that it maintained even through the recession. One of the weirder valuation charts I've seen on Hagerty. Makes me wonder if there isn't something funky with the data/a lack of transaction history.

The same one that keeps being sold, over and over again, like a curse.

Nice car that I'd love to have and in great condition, but I wouldn't go higher than that. The seller is trying to recoup the cost of restoration and it's just not going to happen.

I concur that I don't see it going for much more than the bid it's currently at. (sorry ebayer who's reserve is not yet met)
BUT, i call into question Hagerty's pricing tool.
It doesn't even have my Montego in their system, they aren't to be trusted.

Good luck. I have been watching the auctions and muscle cars are not selling for near what they were a few years ago.

This thing is at a little higher price than it's Hagerty Value

Well, it's hard to track a vehicle whose transactions are largely conducted via barter for cocaine, one-legged hookers, and to settle debts with bookies.

I said Montego not Delorean!
And for some reason hagerty only includes the convertible options.

Ha!
I have to imagine that they just don't have the number of transactions/proper data to put together anything.

NADA doesn't seem to have an issue, here's my current report with options:
