Hardi shared a post onto the Jalopnik FP a few minutes ago from Gawker. If you click the headline, it takes you directly to the story on Gawker. I wish it were handled alternatively, like Reddit. Scenario:
Hardi writes a headline.
Hardi spends
maybe
a line introducing the story or just plugs a link into the body.
Users click link and read story
Users can come back to Jalopnik for a discussion.
It's a huge turn off to me to have to mix with Gawker commentors on stories. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

I think of that pretty much every time I get lead to another area from the FP or Oppo.

Yeah, I don't want to know, or read anything that happens on any of the Gawker site front pages. That's why I'm on Oppo.
