BMW sponsored the Virginia Gold Cup this weekend, and with an access pass to Member's Hill, you could check out the M6, i3, and ActiveHybrid 5. I quite liked the fit and finish of the M6, though for the money, I'd be more inclined to look at an Audi S5.
It was very low-pressure. The sales manager onsite asked if I was in the market, and I told him I didn't have the cash to drop on an M6 right now. He said no worries, and still invited me to take a test-drive if the mood ever strikes me.

Hows that interior hold up to the Phaeton?

The seats and steering wheel look and feel great. But it's obviously not as roomy as the Phaeton. And I'm much more a fan of wood trim than carbon-fiber-esque.

Drive it, the power is insane. I've driven a m5, and if it wasn't for the massive size, I'd be driving one right now.
