!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! on how to clean the garage. I ran out of time when I put that into practice and only got 20% done. I have since discovered even more junk that we actually do need to keep. I have the time and a bit o spare cash to finally bring order to chaos! (my two car garage) The issue Is storage. We can all clean out the junk and put things in general locations but if we all had too much stuff then there is issue. If I could I would build shelves lining every wall floor to ceiling. Then dangling bicycles would hang from rafters all over because of a lack of wall space. Currently the far wall has a full width workbench awaiting...work, with two full span shelves above. Good start. The sides are an issue. If I and the family did not have bikes it would be easy. so a spot for yard tools attached to sticks and the rest shelves...but where bikes? I and the wife do have to walk around in there.

Keep them in the house? It really seems tight.

Yeah...2 kids young enough to need disproportionate toy space means bikes are garaged. I'm sure I could find some sort of ingenious method.

Yeah, maybe stick them between the stalls on the ceiling? Facing the same direction as the cars that is.

Do you have the hieght to go overhead? I have mine and my wife's bikes on Harbor Frieght bike lifts over her car (I did buy better rope from a Marine supply store though).

I've used those before! The issue is the wifes technical ability to make that thing work. Most of the time when I use it I can't get the bike to go up and down level, besides the handlebars or seat and frame have such curves that those hooks it uses don't grab hold firm enough.

sounds like me. We've cleaned up twice since we moved in, and still no cars in it.
