I find myself with a broken down car in a foreign country (Canada), and am at a loss to find any auto parts stores. The only national chain I can find in the yellow pages is Napa, and they claim that nobody makes a clutch slave cylinder for a '98 Escort. I know this is wrong, because I can find the parts just fine on the websites of American parts stores.
I need to find another auto parts store, but can't seem to. I'm in Edmonton, a city of something like a million people, so I know there must be some other chains here, but the usual names like Autozone, O'Reilley, etc aren't anywhere to be seen.
What parts store chain in Canada is your favorite? I'd post a poll, but I haven't the foggiest what to put in it for options.

Canadian Tire is canada's biggest auto part store next in line would be part source then NAPA and last would be bumper to bumper.
There is probably 10 canadian tires in Edmonton but they close @ 6pm on Sundays so you are pretty much screwed for today.

Interesting; from looking at their website, it didn't look like Canadian Tire sold actual parts, just accessories. I'll give them & Parts Source a call tomorrow. Thanks!

Canadian Tire is the Walmart of auto parts in Canada. Unless you arecat a Walmart with auto parts. Then it's the Walmart of auto parts. Or the Canadian Tire... now I have a headache. Thanks Harper!
