As I mentioned in a post earlier, my dad's 64 Comet Cyclone won't be ready for the Power Tour in June. I expect I will be taking my Evo or Mini, but started thinking there may be an alternative. How about picking up some classic Americana for under $5k, toss a for sale sign in it and head west? A quick trip through Atlanta's Craigslist showed a number of candidates. Very tempting.

Do it, you would have a hell of a good time and maybe make some money while you are at it.

yeah, it is always the most expensive one of the lot! Damn cool though. Driving an air cooled, rope driven 52 year old van across half the country. What could go wrong?

Nice.

Nice.

Nice.

Nice.

And the prices all seem to be reasonable, too.
