I've seen it around campus before, finally had the time to take some shots when it wasn't obstructed by something else.
It is wrapped (in case you couldn't already tell)
Don't know the guy that owns it, but I might know the guy i should ask to find out.

The airfilter pod placement seems odd. Very nice though, clean.

Filters are probably placed to get cold air and maybe some kind of ram air effect at speed, doubt it'll have a huge advantage though. Also not sure it's a great idea blocking the rad and intercooler (?) with them.

Exactly, he should of gotten some sort of scoop down there to go towards the pod filters.

I wonder if you could replace the panel between the headlights with a scoop feeding the intake, might work pretty well on one of those.

You could, somewhat looks like that's what he was going for. Perhaps those small vents are for the radiator. Maybe he's smarter then we thought.

think that was the stillen filter placement. The inter coolers were off to the sides

Hmm interesting set up, so used to tuner cars having giant FMICs I didn't consider two smaller ones off to the sides. Is that how the 300zx intercoolers are stock?

I do go to an engineering school, so it is possible

We all know why you took this picture.

Why block out the license plate? Everyone in the world can see it anyways!!

I guess, but he didn't seem to be doing anything stupid, so there is no reason not to hide it! It doesn't really make a difference either way.

My general rule has been,
- If normal plate, block it (takes all of 5 seconds to do)
- If custom/vanity show it

yup, there was one per turbo, like the s4 actually when it was tt. Not sure there was room in these for a single big intercooler. I know stillen also made a pair of upgraded ones for the z also. The first gen Audi tt225 also used twin intercooler a but for a single turbo that they were spinning the shit out of!

YES! And its a twin turbo. With Jspec lights and bumper and a Stillen nose panel.

Just went for a most glorious drive. Finally proved to my roommate that awd can get sideways. Very sideways

What do you drive again? When someone mentions AWD and sideways I automatically assume Subaru Imprubaruuuuu

Except it doesn't weigh 1,000,000 lbs like all the new ford Ecoboost stuff!
