Chevrolet Spark RS
This is such a good Idea I can't even fathom it hasn't been done yet. What you see here is GM's craziest design in its cheapest car. GM's Biggest color palette with the biggest attitude. The Chevy Spark, a little city runabout that has just enough horsepower to not be dangerous. Skinny tires, body roll, and a character that begs to be thrashed on every single drive.
Chevy could easily throw out the adequate 1.2, and replace it with an only 0.2 litre bigger engine to make it as fun to drive as it is to look at. The 1.4 Litre Turbo from the Sonic RS is the perfect candidate. Imagine 138 HP and 148 Torques sent through the from wheels through a 6 speed manual in a car weighing less than 2,400 lb. Who wouldn't want to drive that?!
This would be one of the only warm hatches to be sold in the U.S. which could ignite this awesome type of car that is cheap to buy, cheap to run, but has strong value in the grinning department. Inside fit it with better seats, the ones of the Sonic RS will do, sportier alcantara accents including the steering wheel, some nice sporty wheels out and there you go.
Fuel economy will still be in the high 30s and 40s, and the car will still be one of the cheapest 4 doors of America, only this one will be the nicest to drive. Price for what could be one of the coolest Chevys, $18K. This car would be one serious pocket-rocket-smile inducing-money saving-swager swagin-puma shoe wearing-in n out burger farting-Iphone hipstering- gift card buying- Rainbow colored Bucketload of awesome!

I've been saying since the spark came out that I was going to buy a junked one and turn it into a track car. I have a mean one in Forza 4 - techno pink, straight piped with a cage and r-comps. Chevrolet needs to field a couple against the Fits in the Pirelli World Challenge series. I have half a mind to email them about that myself.

I mean, It would just make this car a lot cooler with all that propaganda. Its a no brainer.

Race on Sunday, sell on Monday! Their motorsport budget wouldn't even notice paying to support a couple lil sparks. Hell, they sent the C6R to LeMans last year. I'm gonna email them. You can drive the second car!

Make it AWD, and it would have time space continuum altering acceleration.

Eh. Just buy a Sonic, it's only 2 grand more.
I sat in a Spark this morning. It seemed surprisingly roomy for such a small car, but I couldn't shake that it literally feels like a mini Sonic.

The trapezoid on the Sonic RS is real. Looks better with an aftermarket exhaust though

Its just the tinniness of it that makes it more special. Like the Mini Cooper S or 500 Abarth , why don't you just buy a Focus ST? Because the smaller package and attitude is worth more than the size. That how I see it, and I actually like the Spark more than the Sonic so there.

It does look good that Hatch. I think it may be the biggest departure of an old model to the new one. That Aveo was a disgrace.
