2000 Buick LeSabre Limited, currently known by some as the "RoadSofa" but I'm not a huge fan of that name.
Any ideas?

Black Velvet.
Classic Buick performance cars were essentially fully loaded muscle cars. although this doesn't provide quite the hustle and muscle of a GSX, it is a nice homage to the brand. Plus, then you have the song to go with the car.
Kind of fits, doesn't it?

The 3800 Series II is based on the block of the 3.8 liter V6 that powered the Buick GNX, so if nothing else I can say it's got "Performance Heritage (r) "

You got that for sure. I forgot that the Series II was a descendant of the GNX engine.

Of course! Doesn't mean much when the car weighs 3800+ but I suppose it helps :)

From my grand prix days, I remember top swaps not being a painful mod if you have someone that knows what they're doing.

Yeah, I've extensively discussed this in another post. I need to save up a few hundred dollars for a new ECU and top end, intake, and a few other goodies. Probably going to take me all summer but I'll get there. Might just buy a whole new engine from a totaled donor machine.
