In my quest to own every douchebag car ever made, I've hit a real milestone. (More Pics Included)

The Legacy GT is now gone and this is the next chapter. Although having a manual LGT was quite a unicorn, this car is much better, I must say.

Getting the spec chart out of the way, this is a 2002 Honda S2000 that's BONE STOCK with 117k miles. It's one of 341 Silver AP1's with the full red interior.

I've owned it now since last Monday, and it has been an absolute riot. However, there are a few niggles: It's a very harsh right, lots of wind noise, and the stereo blows.

But, it's a small price to pay for the pure amount of bliss that comes bundled up in such a small package. The engine is as fresh as day one. It revs freely and I even acheived 27MPG on my first tank. (295 miles x 10.79 gal) This is also my first convertible ever, and the first I've driven that wasn't in mid-August or December, so I'm driving everywhere top down

Don't bother asking what I paid because it will depress you.

Any other questions, feel free to ask.

Well bought! I have had the pleasure of driving an AP1 and they are amazing cars. The last great Hondas in my opinion. And I LOVE the red interior. It would be hard to modify a clean car like that but they sound so good uncorked!

As an owner, I can now say that 100% of this video is true. Also, a large reason why I bought it

I will say, I've never seen Initial D. Also, the fuzz has done a decent job of leaving me alone, which I certainly enjoy. The electronic steering is absolutely nothing to worry about. If anything, it feels manual.

It certainly a douchebag's car though. As a 20 yr old white college kid, no one stranger has given me a kind look driving this car.

Are those manual roofs? I much prefer the manual roof of my 81 fiat than the automatic roof on my 07 mustang. Simpler and quicker.

I've debated doing exhaust, but it's money I'll never get back out of it. Also, I don't keep most cars past 2-3 months anyway, so the exhaust wouldn't be worth it to me.

I agree it would sound great though.

As a Sky Redline owner I envy your trunk space....

It's a power roof, but it goes down in like 8 seconds, I shit you not.

I've also got it modified to go down while moving, so it's very useful.

Lulz I'm shocked by the trunk space.

It's nowhere as good as the WRX Wagon I had, but for a 2-seater roadster, its amazing.

I've thought about this. Short of miraculously finding a blown up 911, I don't think I'll be able to find another sports car this good for this cheap.

Most likely, I'll just buy a Wrangler or something after this. I've always wanted one of those

Well, I've driven and autocrossed an AP1, and the silver 911 in the photo is my dad's, and I kind of prefer the drive of the S2000. The 911 is sublime, but only because I want it to be. The S2000 doesn't require an explanation. 911 is cooler, for sure. I like the color combo on yours - keep that bugger.

Ahhh, first gen.

If you hear the gears crunching, time for a new tranny.

Ahhhh....good times.

Have fun!

Stay safe, and be ready to catch that oppo. Don't forget to wave to other S2k owners.

Probably, actually. I'm 5'11" and I still have the seat up like 2 notches. It's a unbelievably roomy car, all things considered.

Not many in my area actually. I was amazed to see another one at WSU. Apparently, there's another college student as douchey as I.

Nice porchuhh.

Yeah, my dad's got old Shelbys and his friends all have old 'Vettes or old 'Mopars. The S2000 is more engaging to drive yes, but I'm comparing apples and oranges really. Seeing any air-cooled 911 is a rarity in Wichita. You'll see 8 Shelbys, 2 L88s, a Pantera, and a Hemi 'Cuda before seeing a plain jane 70s-80s 911.

And mostly I'll sell it in two months or so. It's a flipper car.

Well I hear clicks when I shift, but I'm assuming thats the sound of the tranny. It's been working tremendously on me so far.

The only issue seems to be a small oil leak from somewhere.

Useful on the drag strip when you don't want to buy a parachute.
