They're just too nice not to want them.

Who needs money in the bank anyways?

All I'm saying is V12 Ranchero.

You won't even know that you have it! Hell, you might have one. Go check. It probably kept breaking down as soon as they fixed it again.

I can't believe people aren't freaking out looking for Montego's with all the attention I give them...

Flying buttresses are best buttresses. Better than those boring grounded buttresses.

I see one in my town all the time. It's always parked in front of the shop I drive by on my way home from work.

Yeah, I am in this club too. It really is an attractive proposition, V12 under $10k? Even available as a convertible! I'll take mine in BRG, converible and tan interior please. Thanks.
Also the XJS is a rare car, in that it's the only car to be made to look better with US regulating in the form of quad headlights :D

The only time I've seen one, it was on the side of the highway with the hood up.
Glad I got to see it in its natural state.

I'm not saying a '70 Ranchero with the buttresses and rear lights replaced, and a V12, and elongated hood and bed, but that's what I'm saying.

I probably left it in my other pants.

Get one of those along with like a Triumph or a LR Discovery and you'll only need one parking spot to store both.

Awww hell yes.
When I get round to buying one I'll start a self-help group for lovers of cheap V12s

What makes matters far worse is that I know a supplier of cheap XJ and XJ-S parts is less than two hours away - because I got my rear suspension (XJ-S) for the Ranchero from him. Makes the "but hard to find/expensive parts" argument crumble at first blush.

I think you need some TUNEMAN license plates too.. please?

...do it :)
It's practically the sensible option at this point :)

I'm tempted, so tempted, thinking about the V-12. I still want an X350 XJR more though.

Yeees. Yesyesyesyes. I've been tracking the prices of these for six months now, for when I one day feel rich/drunk enough to buy one. It will have to be the coupé, though. Those lines!
My main issue is that where I live (Sweden) a good XJS costs roughly as much as a good XK8 from the late 90s. The XK8 will feel more modern (if that's a good thing), be faster, and be a LOT easier to convince my girlfriend to ride in. What to do?
