Just so I know what to look for at Pull-A-Part when it comes time for new tires on Gretchen. That's my Escort's name, by the way. But anyway, yeah, I like quirky geometric '80s/'90s style weirdness mostly, so the weirder they are, the better.

This is my current favorite, but they're pretty rare and I'm not sure of their other dimensions...

What can YOU recommend?

You should upgrade to 5-lug wheels, because that's the minimum needed for full-mile events (the one I may go to at any rate). Every car should be standing-mile-ready.

Above, dealer installed accessory wheel for the BMW E30. Came in a 15x7, 4x100 pattern. You will also see them in a 15" on E32/E34 cars, but those are 5x120.

Below is the BMW Z1. Expensive, but apparently available. Also 15x7, 4x100, but really do look like 16s.

I always loved those, and regret not having a set when I owned my E30. Simple and nicely dished too! The Z1 wheels are pretty sweet as well :)

I had a set of these Integra GS-R wheels on my '98 Civic EX Sedan for about 5 years. Loved their look.

But I always coveted these later model GS-R wheels more.
