I had a beard before people who had a beard before it was cool had beards. Seriously, I haven't been clean-shaven in 15 years, and that was only becuase a major surgery required it. Also, I know what an Allen wrench is and couldn't tell you the difference between an americano and a macchiato if you held a gun to my head.

I do use beard grooming/conditioning products though... *ducks*

Awesome, thanks for sharing!

I have recently trimmed back my awesome beard. It was time. It was getting warmer out, and it just had to be done. Usually I shave it off completely, but I just could not do it this time.
My mother in law saw it and said "Oh you look nice. You now have a manly beard, a 5 o'clock shadow." I laughed and said I look more like a pre-pubecent boy compared to me with my full beard.

I loved my beard. I have grown one in the fall/winter months for about the past 10 years. I look forward to it when September comes around. I usually stop shaving on my birthday near the end of September.

Now that I have trimmed it way back, I feel like less of a man. My face feels vulnerable, and looks more round than before. I feel I need to constantly carrying around tools to show that I truly am still a man.

I used head and shoulders on my beard since I have dry skin. It stopped the dry skin on my chin from coming about, and kept my beard/face pretty much itch free.

I shaved my beard and I feel like less of a man for doing so. I'm growing it back, and it is only conditioned with the finest Chevron Delo 5w40 synthetic that leaks from the underside of my Fiat 124 Spider. Well, that or the finest used Idemitsu 0w20 from my Mazda3.

I did, however, shave my head, because it's summer dammit, and I want to keep the head cool in the Spider.

Off to the diner to eat all the bacon and eggs they have, before going on a junkyard hunt for a Fiat transmission. Damn Fiat.
