!!! UNKNOWN HEADER TYPE (MULTI-LINE BREAK?) !!!

I launched the online magazine in January and I can't really say stats have been booming. However, I've been putting a couple of strategies in place to increase the traffic and drive in more viewers, so it is growing at a steady pace.

Just to clarify, it is a voluntary position, at the moment the website doesn't generate any financial income to even earn myself so as much as I'd like to pay someone, I just can't at the moment, but we've all gotta start somewhere and I think it would be a great opportunity for anyone who wants to build a portfolio of writing about cars (maybe) or something along those lines.

I'm looking for anyone who loves writing about cars to come along and just post really! The latest news, gossip, whatever it is!

Not to mention we will be very active on OppositeLock too.

I see the potential in it becoming bigger and hopefully lead to printed magazines, in fact here's a little sneak preview of what could possibly be a printed version -

I guess that question is on everyone's mind. The short answer - no. Mainly because it's just started up and it's not generating anything financially to support myself either. It's voluntary (I guess I should edit OP to mention) for anyone who just wants a place to write up.

Hi im interested in contributing as a writer. I am in Australia, I could cover the local car scene here, and I have interest in Japanese engineered cars.

Could I contribute and see how it goes?

Haven't launched the first issue yet, but upon launch it'll be a monthly thing. Right now, the site holds the latest stuff.

So, does this require coming to your location, or are you going to take contributions from afar, or what?

I'm excited for you, and wish you well. I may even wish to participate. However, it must be said, in the interest of honest constructive criticism: your idea of starting an awesome car blog and then turning it into a printed magazine is bass-ackwards. Seriously, what do you think you know about the distribution of printed publications that, say, Newsweek doesn't? Left and right, established household-name mags are going digital form only, and you think that the exact opposite plan is best for your 2014 upstart?

You're right about printed magazines being a bit old fashioned, it'll be available digitally too. The reason why I want to do it is rhat in the UK, magazines still sell quite a lot and people still enjoy reading them. Obviously it won't be printed in mass numbers but a couple of issues here and there won't hurt. But it'll be available online mainly, it is 2014 and printed magazines are a tad old fashioned.
