and the car seems completely amazing, but now that I'm seeing it in non-Ferrari released images, I'm noticing certain things about it like...
TOW HOOKS!! Jesus Christ, it's so noticeable and hard to unsee, it almost ruins the way the (otherwise sexy) car looks to me... gahhh, oh well...

Tow hook? Umm. Just unscrew it and put it back in the tool kit if you don't want it there?

Yeah, but if it's able to be unscrewed then why is it there on the factory's car for when publications are doing video reviews? Seems weird to keep it there if it doesn't need to be and can be removed.

Cause you journalists suck ass at driving, they have to be prepared to pull you fools out of the weeds.

I'm guessing it's assumed that one of these publications will do something stupid with the ferrari the ferrari.

Likely because they're on a track and want to be prepared if they need to tow it back in for whatever reason. I don't see the problem here.

I mean I don't think anybody really put that much thought into it. It's pretty standard procedure at tracks to have a tow hook in just in case you need to be pulled out of the grass or gravel (or sometimes mud, if you frequent the tracks that I tend to). Here's a picture of my car with a similar oem-style lame metal tow hook (before I bought the much cooler red tow straps!).

Fair enough, that makes sense.
I was mostly just commenting on the aesthetic effect of it being there, not saying that anything was fundamentally wrong with it being there.
