Apparently this is the "New Midsized Coupe" or NMC, whatever the hell that is. I'm assuming its just the new CC.

EDIT: beat the FP by 9 minutes, boom

I think this is supposed to be based off the Jetta/Golf. However, it looks too big and bulky, as if they finally updated the CC to reflect the current Passat better.

Man I hope that's not the new CC. That looks incredibly boring compared to the current gen.

As a fairly big VW fan, I hate it. It looks like a Kia.

Its too hard to tell VAG products apart now-a-days. Maybe it is jetta sized, or maybe its Passat sized. Midsize does mean Passat around here, but then again VW sells smaller cars everywhere else, so maybe midsize is jetta to them. I DONT KNOW WHAT THIS IS.

Yes and no. As a person who has seen the Golf, Jetta, and Passat side by side in person, the Jetta is definitely their Middle of pack offering now. It literally is in the middle between the two.

Wait, I thought the Jetta was a Golf with a trunk attached (more or less)?

It used to be. The Jetta and Golf actually diverged on different paths with the Mk6. The Jetta ended up being more or less a mini-Passat, as where the Golf was a polished version of its older, smaller self.

Is this a Jetta or a Passat? I can never tell anymore. Their beige-ness makes them blend with one another.

I think maybe Jetta? But your guess is as good as mine.
