FFFUUUUUU*******KKKKKK YOU!! I know I'm driving a 1000 pound car with no weight upfront, this does not for a second mean that I want to lack the ability to drive in a straight line! -.-

Sounds like me Karting on Sunday. Although my plight was due to rain, made it quite awesome though.

I actually don't think I've driven my Beetle in rain this year..just snow and not snow, lol.

I'd have the mental image of a sand rail, but that'd still be like 1200lb.

Ah, okay. I wondered, cause I remembered Beetles being about 1600lb, and know better than to assume poetic license around here.

Lol, yeah, still nothing compared to todays cars, and still not fun in wind :P I'd have to weigh mine, some carbon fiber..but a bigger motor..and alot of bondo, haha

Pfft, I hate high-wind in my ~3,300lb Mazda3. I can't imagine what it's like with about 1/3 of that weight.

Kinja'd!!!

These weigh more like 2600 and have weight in the front, but they're still no picnic, as they're basically a sail.

Surely its front engined? And I'd imagine..I can't wait for the joys of driving a big brown truck for my work in wind (can probably guess the trucks I'm on about by that explanation, lol)

Wind in almost anything is awful, though in this car (which is a Classic Beetle btw) can feel even light gusts...would be driving my heavy Z, but it needs tires...

Yep, front engined. Technically front mid, but that's nitpickery. Aluminum body like the aforementioned Grumman...

Atleast the steering end won't get pushed as bad then :) but still not fun. The biggest wtf to me is... I live in Colorado...it gets crazyyyyy windy here sometimes, and (back to big brown trucks) the guy that moves our trailers around, pulls 2 0r 3 empty trailers at one time back to Denver...a hour away.. in wind... which..just baffles my face. Does it in snow too, but it takes a bit longer in snow, lol.
