Done for tonight, the damned thing won't come off. May try to heat up the spindle, but its aluminum. Had to stop because the car was sticking half out the garage and was getting late, no more banging after 10 pm. I want my neighbors to at least tolerate me. A lot going on in this photo.
1 that old bearing assembly is from the right rear from a few years ago, very similar to the front except the front has an axle shaft going through it.
2 I sawzalled the lip off the bearing on the car so that the slide hammer would be able to fit onto the studs and hopefully I can jerk it off like I did the one in the rear.
I'm open to suggestions.

Why would a pulley puller not work here? Considering they push/pull at the same time vs your slide hammer just pulling. I don't see why it wouldn't. If not, someone please inform me as to why. Thanks.

On the fwd the axle slides into the transaxle, so I don't want to put that pressure on the transmission.

Random thought I've never tried. Can you use a big honking drift or punch against the side of one of the bolt ears and a BFH to try and rotate the bearing housing in the spindle? If you can get it to rotate even a little bit that may be enough to crack the rust bonds and allow you to get it out with the slide hammer.
Oh and put a super-thin coat of anti seize on the surfaces of the new bearing that will contact the spindle. The steel & aluminum touching cause corrosion that welds them together.
