A cold nights sleep in the back of my Wagon... I was out camping with some friends.

I should know the answer to this, but what is that? Part of my wants to guess Volvo, but I'm too lazy to research it. Looks nice & roomy, though.
My wife and I are going to be doing that on Thursday night. Soooo much more comfortable than sleeping in the front seats (we're going on a 1200-mile drive as quickly as we can on a shoestring budget, so we're sleeping in a rest area, not getting a hotel). We have a young daughter, so I built a 'hammock' (not really what it is, since it's got a solid bottom, but that's what I'm calling it) that rests on the rear window sills so that she can sleep horizontally above our feet. Should be an adventure. I should post a picture of our setup after we arrive; it's not near as roomy as yours, I have a '98 Escort.

Perhaps socks would have helped. ;D

And a proper sleeping bag. This thing is rated for chilly Texas nights, not frigid NY nights.

Oh nice man! I hope yall have fun, be safe too. Assuming its an Escort wagon you'll be fine. This is a 300td wagon, W123.

I romanticize car camping.

I slept like that in Chevrolet Cavalier 4 door, with the rear seat folded down. You fold down the seat then lay through the trunk. It was also cold, and my parking space wasn't that level, so I kept rolling to the right, but it was good enough.
