How awesome would it be to own this though... You'd be all like "Oh this, it's just my old, second hand 164. Barely runs. Listen to the engine and tell me there isn't something weird with it" Then you fire it up (Somehow. Don't ask me, it's your drug fueled mid-Sunday-afternoon daydream), and all hell breaks loose from that Formula 1 V10
One thing I always wanted to know, but never bothered to ask, though, is how different was this car's chassis from Alfa's Formula one cars from the same era? I mean, it's safe to assume all dat ass, engine, transaxle, suspension, wheels and tires, all of it came straight from F1 right? So, was this car essentially just a Formula 1 car with a sedan bodyshell, two seats and nose mounted radiator?

No clue but GOD it was pretty. I included it in my earlier 164 post for just that reason.

I would guess it has absolutely nothing to do with a normal 164, except for some body panels. Not even the chassis looks like the original one, flat floor and a cage frame, while the 164 is a unibody design.

It's packaged completely different, so unless the Alfa F1 chassis had huge suspension pick-up points in the front, no.
