Very cool, my father has a friend with one. He told him once that the Cayenne was due for service of around 20,000 Miles but the nearest Porsche dealership was 6 hours away in some highways that were known to have gangs stealing other peoples' cars. His idea, he called Porsche in Monterrey and told them the Cayenne would not start and it was all Porsches fault. Porsche sent an engineer with a moving truck only to come to his house and see the Cayenne fire up nicely. Then, he said to the guy Wow it worked! But it is due for a service so I will take advantage of the ride to monterrey. They took and returned his Cayenne without complaints.

That's nice of them!

The owner of the Cayenne that I drove today wasn't having many problems with it currently. He took good care of it from what I could tell, it had around 78,000 miles on it.

Yeah, I haven't heard any horror stories about his either. Once when I was very young, his wife came to the school for the carpool and she saw me. She called me and said look at my new car! Look what it can do! She tried raising it and lowering it with the air suspension. It didn't move; my guess, it broke. You should've seen her face when she told me "um, uh, I guess it doesn't want now. But it will later." I stepped out of their cayenne dissapointed.

Haha, I do remember briefly becoming confused on how to turn it on. The ignition is on the left side of the steering wheel. Which I knew, but it was also a switchblade style key, similar to the one in my Audi. I guess I just got confused, Hehe.

The only problem with it that I could tell is that it smelled like wet dog. I couldn't pick up on anything else. But I'm guessing that he had it maintained fairly well.

Haha, my Lady friend has a Volvo V70 Xc which I use for all of my dog transportation needs.

There is noooo way that my dog is going to scratch up MY leather. My Gf? I don't really care about her car. Neither do I, so it all works out nicely.

Haha, Yeah.

The Hoonage went well. Lots of pretty noises in the parking garage and a couple roads. If only it was the 6mt.

I've never sat, or rode in a Cayenne before; nor a Cayman, Boxtser or anything newer than a 996(I've sat in a 991 at a dealer though) :(

What's it like?

It's like a luxurious 04 Santa Fe . Odd interior, strange shapes. I believe the Cayenne was an 04 also, not sure though. The ignition is on the left side of the wheel which confused me :)

It was my first Porsche to my knowledge also, and I got to drive it haha.

Ignition on the left harkens back to Porsche's racing days. It's the same on the 911(which had it first) and Panamera(just no). Still waiting to drive at least ONE Porsche... This summer it may happen!

Haha, I've wanted to own a Carerra 4S for quite some time. Now when I'm offered to drive a Cayenne. Hell yes. It's a Porsche still.

You could always just show up to a Porsche dealer and test hoon/drive one.

Stupid question, but what constitute nice clothes? There is one dealer that I do visit every couple months during my free time to chat with the Porsche people, so they do know me a little, mostly because I'm that one kid that came there the first in a '74 911 that almost bought an '85 944...

Probably a button down, jeans or khakis, shiny watch and loafers of some sort. That's my usual dealership attire. My Audi dealer and my body shop know me by name. Not good, Haha.

Ninja edit: I don't even go to the dealer all but once a year, because seep rate shop. They still know me because unreliality. Body shop because I'm there so often haha.
