I am a huge Seinfeld fan and in the show he loves Porsches and Saabs. He never owns a Porsche but you see them all the time in the background in scenes, especially really nice ones I believe Jerry owns.

But out of all the cars Jerry owns in the shows he has owned two BMWs, one 3 series (e36) and one 5 series (E34). But both had terrible quick fates. First is the 3 series.

In the first 5 mins of the "Parking Spot" George destroys the suspension or something (I mean I reck the suspension).

Kinja'd!!!

Thats him and Elaine in the car coming from some flee market and he gets distracted and I think hits a pot hole. Anyways, in the next episode its bye bye Bimmer.

Then there is the BO incident in the "Smelly Car". A valet leaves BO in a the 5 series and Jerry can't get rid of it, so he gets a new car.

BMW's are just funnier. I mean I like them, but the public thinks BMW drivers are uptight, neurotic jerks, just like the characters on the show. You wouldn't want to have a sit-com character drive a cool car, cause then people would just feel sorry for them instead of laughing at them when something bad happens (which is what makes it a "situational" comedy).
