Hey everyone ! Someone backed into my car when it was parked and when I was at work. She was mortified and offered to pay for damages. Then I gave her the estimates. Around 1500-2000. Now it is going through her insurance who is sending out an appraiser. Any suggestions on what to do or say?
Obviously, I'll have some figures about the iX being so rare and the current selling prices in the area.
Got the bumper back on ! The brackets were strong.
On the bright side the Batmobile showed up on campus today and I was shooting the breeze with the event guy, who used to have an E30. I told him I'd like a picture of me and the two cars and he backed my car right next to the Batmobile.

Hit up bimmerforums or some of the e30 forums for DIY info or some ways to get replacement parts.

I will. Once I figure out which body shop I am headed to, I may need or may want to source the parts myself.

you should just be really happy that she didn't run off (like every accident my family has been in)
Be sure to require genuine OEM parts And you need to pick where they fix it! Don't go where the insurance requires.

There's a place off I-25 in Loveland that specializes in older bumpers. They have tens of thousands in stock. Might want to give them a call.
