My list makes sense.

E36- more power similar weight and chassis dynamics to E30

E90- POWAH

F30- Power and hopefully improved chassis dynamics

E46- Not much more power over the E36, but more weight

E30- Not enough power. But good chassis dynamics, too small. Coupe only.

I'll tell you what I told Brian.

E36- more power, similar weight and chassis dynamics to E30

Ahaha. Okay, most of those are pretty good reasons. But... But the E30??? I'm disturbed and perplexed and I need an adult.

Please don't read this as accusatory or interrogatory, because its not meant to be, but have you ever driven an E30 M3? They're magical!

Also, my first experience on a track was with an E46, so they have a special place in my heart. And the E36's are so common near me, and most of them are modded in poor taste, so I no longer like them. It's kind of sad. I used to think they were great.

I have a special place of hate in my heart for the E46. Growing up in a small town, when I was in high school all the yuppie pricks had one. Totally reinforced the stereotype.

That being said, I love the E36 in every way imaginable.

You mean euro E36? b/c E46 has a 39% boost in power over E36, so hard so say that's not much more power. Your rationale for f30[sic] below E90 doesn't make much sense either. I think both your M3 and M5 lists are troll threads anyway.

I think that I know what the hell I meant and this is my opinion on how I feel about these cars. The E46's power boost over the E36 doesn't make it a better car essentially. It's so plain to look at compared to the E36.

I kept the F30 neutral at the middle of the list because no one knows how it drives yet. The E90 has that absolute peach of an engine to aid it.

Just because the M community covets the E30 and E46 doesn't mean I do. Just like how they Covet the E39 and Brian doesn't. They're called personal opinions.

I think you found the picture of the only nice looking E36 in the world. All the rest are either being destroyed on tracks (not a bad thing), or have Autozone Gills on them these days (very bad).

My neighbor owns an E30 that looks like it just came out of the factory. It's gorgeous and flawless inside and out. Probably has less than 15,000 on the od.
