Here are some Mallard ducks near my multi coloured car. I was going to check my hydrualic fluid level for the power steering (hence why the hood is up) but realized if I got that close the ducks would probably run away. Edit: Ducks are so weird in the rain they sit with their head turned 180 degress and their bill in their feathers. I guess to keep warm? I dunno.

They are. they were sitting with their head rotated 180 degrees and their bill in their feathers.

If a duck came in here...I wonder what the cat would do.

When I was a kid, we had a duck like this nest in the flowers in our kitchen window. She used to look at us funny when we ate boiled eggs. One day, they all left the nest, except for one little duckling that got stuck and was left behind. We made a few calls and were told to try and unity with some random duck family, apparently they aren't too picky. I have no idea what became of it. We never even got a postcard :(

My cockatiel does the same when it's napping/sleeping, and often goes on one foot.

That is kind of funny that ducks don't care if it's someone else's offspring.,
