Whats the best X Litre Engine is a new mini-not-actually-real- series I have just thought off. It will only consist of answering the question in the comments with what you think is the best answer.

What is the best "X" Litre engine? Each time, the "X" will be substituted with a random number that pops into my head. For example: 1.2, I will give my choice of best 1.2 Litre displacement engine, and I will read all of yours.

To start off, I will choose 3.2 Litres. What is the best 3.2 Litre engine?

My choice: 2004 Golf R32 VR6 (Or how I like to call it VR-Sex) 24 Valve.

237 HP 236 lb ft Revving to 6,500 RPM and singing the nicest note this side of 100K.

The Ford iron block SHO 3.2L, give it the 3.0L's hotter factory cam and you'll have a nice 7500 rpm V6 to shove into any Lotus, Miata, or sports kit car..

Where I live VR6 ricing is the thing. There are like ten of them in a 15 mile radius. I want to shoot everyone of their owners with a freaking flare gun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a local guy who has a silver one by me. It's bone stock as far as I know, and I used to get to watch it at least a couple times a day make trips in front of the store going to a bagel place every morning (every. single. morning.). It was glorious.

Then the shop moved, and I don't get to see it much anymore.

In this opponauts opinion this is a great idea for a little series. Without putting a seconds thought into it I thought 3.2 isn't too common a size nowadays. But then I started thinking, and reading the thread, and I kept saying oh yea the NSX! Duuuuh the N54! Cool idea.
