In all the wrong ways.

Kinja'd!!!

I'm just in a crabby mood again. I don't expressly have a reason to be, I mean, I did the moolah shuffle earlier and got ready for the Magnum I hopefully get to look at on Tuesday (and if things really get good, purchase soon after).

I really just want a lazy, peaceful weekend with the lady, and I know I wont get it. She's been in rare form the past few days. In the evenings, this funny thing happens to me every day. I get tired. I want to just sit somewhere and do whatever in wonderful peace and quiet. Lately she's just been really pushy about things, and I'll do what she wants, but ugh. We don't live together just yet, which is a nice thing, because I'd probably just sleep on the couch tonight if we did.

It's the video games. That's part of why I'm cranky. I go to have some alone time (rated G) and she has to break out the DS or some other game. Supposedly one time when we went away for a weekend, she was doing that, and in my sleep I smacked her DS out of her hands. Damn straight. I honestly don't remember it at all (I was actually asleep), but isn't that a sign? I understand that she enjoys being physically near me, but once she gets what she wants, she's off in her own little world. She gets the attention she wants while I'm present, so that's good enough, right? Reciprocate, woman!

I love her though. She's the one. I'm almost ready for it. I may have picked out a cylindrical object as well...

You really, really need to not move in with a girl who's controlling you. It's not natural, you'll both resent each other, and it will end badly. Be more assertive, stop taking her crap, and she'll either chill out and respect you or reveal that she's actually nuts.

Its not a control thing. I dont feel like theres any disrespect going on. Its not some "its complicated" relationship, its pretty straightforward.

She has PTSD, and its her coping method to just block out reality (in a sense). Like everyone else, I have my days, but nothing like her. She doesnt usually talk about things, and I cant make her, nor do I want to. Its pretty much on par with any relationship when one person has PTSD, its easy until its not, but it gets better with time, or I would like to think so.

We both wanted the relationship, and Im in it for the long haul. Sometimes I just need to vent, and shes the last person I would vent to, because I know that she would either roll her eyes (on a really good day, which is extremely rare), or she'd flip, and neither one of us need that.

Its just hard for me to cope with it all. There isnt really much help for me, so I just have to be careful with her and myself.

If she gives you any more grief, tell her you "may have picked out a cylindrical object", then show her this...

Kinja'd!!!

Hilarity ensues...
