This day was full, and sometimes, you have too much to do..

Kinja'd!!!

Ever since I've started the weekend detailing job, I've been flooded with requests for detailing the "Brazilian community"'s cars, so..

Woke up nice and early (unlike I traditionally do) and started cleaning both my father's and brother's cars, (continuing the "list" from the previous afternoon). There went my morning...

1 PM came, and I had to return my steam machine rental within the next 50 minutes at the local department store, and I lost the bag the accessories came in.

I quickly drove to my father's office (with my brother's car), where the van was parked. I used the spare van key to unlock and check the van; nothing, zilch... So I frantically sped back home, and found the bag on top of the garbage can in the garage, so I grabbed it, and took off towards the department store with the machine, where they took over 40 seconds to serve me at the (relatively empty) customer service desk.

I was getting quite a bit annoyed because of this, because I had a friend to pick up on the other side of town within the next 15 minutes. I did not make it within that time, due to traffic deciding that it was a good idea to rubberneck a car that was broken down, and construction slowing everything else, but not as badly, the drive back was a lot better.

I later brought my friend to check on a possible vehicle to work on in the future, a rusty 1990 Mazda I've been eyeing for the past couple of days, the interior was pretty much missing, and it had the 2.2 N/A motor, which according to the seller, refuses to die, after 6 years of winter beating. It requires a metal patch to be welded in the structural part of the rear bumper area to fix cancerous rust, and a handbrake cable, both to pass safety. The car had over 250,000 miles on the clock, and had a squeaking belt. The guy was really down to earth, and really honest about everything, knew every part of the car, and even warned me the car was a shitbox.

This was an unusually full day, it was tiring, but satisfying for sure.

Ah, shit. That sucks. People who throw coffee are the second worst kind of people. Any way to get the stain out?

People who drive the speed limit in the passing lane while not paying attention and talking on their phones. I've noticed its usually soccer moms in very large SUVs.

They are tied for first with those who commit genocide.
