"Yowen - not necessarily not spaghetti and meatballs" (yowen)

I've found the one in the color scheme I would want (pretty much), if I had the space to have a second car, haha. Since I know a number of you have been looking at these as well lately, I thought I'd post it. It's got a BRG exterior and a tan interior (I'd prefer cream, but tan is close enough). It's got the 5.3L V12 and less than 42k miles. Definitely needs those headlights cleaned up! Or better yet, replace them with quads :D I think that's the one good thing to ever come out of making a car conform to US standards.

BRG/tan, convertible, V12, under $10k. This is the combination that would make me take the bait.

I absolutely love the style of those cars. My dream is to get one with a V8 swap or similarly awesome swap, such as this one with a 2JZ

Yeah, I would love to swap in a 302 or 351 with a 5 speed manual.
A 2JZ would be quite a neat swap too. There's a sound you definitely wouldn't expect out of one of these, haha.

Almost anything BRG + Tan or Cream + engine + convertible is yowen-bait.

There are some fantastic kits available too. Haha, or a large diesel swap. There's certainly room in the engine bay. You'll hear that low rumble coming for miles.

Bah, heathens!
Nah, I'm cool with it. Not my style, but I'd rather 1/2 and XJS on the road than no XJS.
Ok, that was a little harsh too ;) they're cool cars regardless.

I'd only do it if the V12 proves too expensive to bother repairing it. Otherwise I definitely want the bragging rights of 12 damn cylinders!

Mmm, BRG and tan is such an excellent combo. Works an absolute treat on the F-Type as well.
I love the idea of a white exterior with a darker tan leather interior, or perhaps Kingfisher Blue (just for the name).

The name alone is enough to convince me it's a good idea.
Indeed a white one with tan interior would be very good looking as well. That and the BRG just oooze class and sophistication.
BRG+Tan can even make the crassest of cars seem classy.

Good man :) I think it'd be hard for me to ever give up the noise of the thing.
If you pick up one with a nuked engine then anything's fair game :)
davedave111 had the utterly mental idea of swapping in the V12 twin-turbo-diesel from an Audi Q7. 493bhp and 737lb-ft, and most likely much better fuel economy :)

That engine would be an awesome addition to wherever you set your mind to putting it, haha. I wish that it could be done afford-ably, lol.
It could be done in a state w/o emissions testing, I do believe that importing strictly an an engine can be done for "off-road" use. Or ya know, you could live anywhere that's not the US and get your hands on it.

Oddly, I'm an XJS coupe man, but you are correct that BRG/tan is the shizz.
