In Oregon the top three places to go to are the evergreen aviation museum because spruce goose.

Second is the Tillamook Air museum that's inside a WWII blimp hanger. The building itself is amazing

And finally would be the Papas toys car collection. They only do one open house a year but its worth going to. The collection is over 200 cars and the parking lot show is near 1000 cars

there is always the Packard Museum in Dayton. Then go see where the wright brothers invented the airplane

the Larz Anderson Museum has awesome lawn events in the summer. I've seen many rare unicorns there (m1, f40, e36 LTW, Stout Scarab). Their website had picture of a F1 LM parked out front at one point. Saratoga NY also has a pretty decent collection.
