Hey Guys, my current Oppo account is tied to my work email (Google Services) and I'd really like to move it away from there. I know there isn't a way to transfer it so I was thinking:
1) Change username of this account
2) Create account using personal Google Account
3) Have an Oppo admin verify me and make it so I can publish on Oppo again?
4) Oppo away!
Is this the best way to go about this?
Thanks and have a Mclaren MP4-12C for your troubles! (caught this the other day next to work)

I find Twitter to be easiest. I never even use mine anyways.

You can switch to twitter or facebook authorization and disconnect google, then reconnect to a different google account.

Thank you, but I gave it a try and it won't let me unlink my Google account :/

I believe it is far simpler than that. You can change the associated account in your Account Settings / Expand connected accounts area. Basically, you'll want to add one of the other methods (Twitter or Facebook), then disconnect from your Google one.

Double check that you have switched the account dropdown to twitter/facebook and clicked save. It should un grey the disconnect button under "expand connected accounts" for google. Works for me.

I am trying to disconnect my account and it won't ungrey that Disconnect box no matter how many times I save or connect anything else. Please help, I just want my stuff gone, I wanted to delete a comment that I posted a picture of myself in and now I've found I literally have no control over any submitted content and I am extremely frustrated.

I'm just a user, but according to the Kinja terms, you cannot delete your account or replies .
There very first line in the Kinja terms of use state.

Anything you post on Kinja is public. So make sure you're comfortable with the idea that anyone can view anything you post here.
I think you are pretty much out of luck.
