My motorcycle speedometer is digital. Normally really nice for visibility, not so nice when you cross the border, forget to change the units, and suddenly find yourself doing mental calculations to avoid that 50kph over impound.

I had a digital speedometre in my first car, and it drove me nuts as I attempted to maintain perfect speeds. 71? GAAAAAAHHHHH slow down. 69? GAHHHHHHH speed up. 70? ahh relax. *rinse, repeat*

I drive by those all the time and have never even thought best value. Every time I check the spedo "119? Yup." and carry on.

I know. The ones on the 401 though usually have the fines not the points. Ontario is too strict about everything. The speed limit on the rural sections of 400 series should be 110 at least.

Down by Windsor and Sarnia, they have one, then the other, then again in francais. I think the limit should be 120. Then just stick to it. over is a fine and spanking, or something....

I agree. I probably generally wouldn't drive my beater faster than 110 but I have no problem sticking to the slow lane.
