Kinja'd!!!

UPDATE: I found the reason for the lapse in orders. According to a reply he made to someone's post on the Track Decals FB, his mom had two large tumors removed earlier in the month and is doing chemo right now. I am certainly sympathetic and completely understand putting the business on hold. However (and a lot of people might think I sound like an asshole for saying this) as a professional business there should be an update made to let customers known that orders won't be going through for awhile. There is no need to go into detail or anything, but even if he can't make the update himself it would seem that you could have someone log into the page and make an announcement about the temporary hold on business.

Please note that this isn't me complaining, I am very understanding and sympathetic to the situation, but when you run a business that is a major responsibility as well. The company's reputation is being hurt because customers are unaware that business is not being conducted as usual, which is truly a shame because there is a legitimate reason for the orders not going out. My sincerest thoughts go out to the owner of Track Decals/Sculptures, his mother, and family as a whole.

So !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! back in the 7th, they quote production and shipped within 5 days. Based on ground shipping estimates for both Fedex and UPS (not sure which they use) from their location in Austin, TX to where I live in Illinois, it should be a 3-4 day shipping time. So what should have been 9 days, is now 17. I will give it a bit of a break, because of the holiday weekend, but even if I allow an extra 2 days for that it's still more than one business week over the expected delivery time. I also never received a shipping confirmation email, which is supposed to be sent with a tracking number. My card was charged on the 8th, so I know they've been paid. I'm generally a pretty understanding guy, but it's starting to get a little annoying. I sent an email the other day, which I never received a response from, called and left a message with them today and sent another follow-up email. Anyone else ever had issues dealing with TS? I've heard nothing but good things so far.

Here's some ST185 rally hoonage for taking the time to listen to my woes. :)

Update: Nothing from them still, despite calling another number of theirs (the one for Track Decals) and sending a message on FB. But while on FB I noticed two other guys who've been waiting as long, if not longer, to receive their own orders. Not looking good. I wonder what the deal is.

Lol. I wish. That would at least make a longer shipping time more understandable. This one is 18" across x 1/2" wide x 3/4" deep, and should be the envy of all the other car guys in my office. :D

I don't understand why people pay so much for these track cut outs. I made my own Nurburgring GP cutout that's 3ftx5ft and 2 in thick for about $20 using an overlay from Staples and a local jig shop. Looks just as good as these.

I am not allowed to drive for another 5 weeks, 11 or 12 at the time I ordered this, because I have a broken femur and there are insurance issues with me driving while on crutches. I am, and was aware, that this can be done for much cheaper, but it would be awhile before I could make the necessary trips to get one made (I am trying to inconvenience my roommate in terms of driving me places as little as possible) and just felt like treating myself. lol

Good point. Pretty embarrassed for not thinking of that myself, since I work in digital marketing. lol

Just messaged them on there, and noticed two other negative reviews complaining about undelivered orders and unanswered emails/calls recently too. Not looking good.

Man that's weird, especially since they supposedly also run trackdecals.com and I got my stuff quick from them.

Yeah, it is the same place as track decals. Looks like their social media activity dropped off around end of March/early April. There's a chance the dude is on vacation, or in the hospital, or something, but even then I imagine there's more than one person working there who can update their social media to let customers know if there is going to be a break in shipping.

Weird. I got my stuff like right at the beginning of April I believe.

Are they related to Linear edge? https://linearedge.com/

Anyone buy from them?

Nope. Linear Edge is a different distributor. I was going with Track Sculptures because they offer the half-size sculptures, which are cheaper and will fit on the wall of my cubicle, and LE doesn't.
