it's done he's finally gone and done it, my dad unlike normal humans at his 56 years of age has bought a a a... I can't say it (deep breaths) a prius. Why can't he have gone and had a midlife crisis car like normal people. Comfort me oppo I need help.

I admit the title is slightly exaggerated but the terrible thing is that he does happen to be a car guy he didn't use to be but 4 years of dragging him to irvine cas and coffee has changed him for the better. HE WAS SHOWING SO MUCH PROMISE.!!

My dad bought a Prius a few years ago, he was 57 at the time. He's wanted one since the day they came out. He does have the perfect commute to get the best gas mileage out of it at least, lots of stop and go traffic.

I hate it. I refuse to drive it for two reasons. 1)Horrible Blind Spots 2)He gives you crap if you mess up his fuel economy averages. I like to keep my eyes on the road without worrying about the stupid economy meter.

Luckily I live in a different state and so I only have to deal with it at Christmas. My sister drives the Prius and I drive my mother's Civic (which is quite nice and she gets better mpgs than my dad because she has a freeway commute).
