This guy in my sociology class is drinking a gallon of milk and playing Team Fortress 2. The Prof asked him what he was doing. "I'm drinking milk, what does it look like?"

What. The.
I had a guy in class that used to bring his home-made laptop (a desktop + LCD in some sort of carry-on hard case) and a 2-liter of Coke every day. He was a bit weird, to say the least.

Man did really none of y'all mess around in required attendance classes? I played online poker in at least two of my classes all freshman year. Having a note swap website and teachers that don't vary their class is fantastic.

I once got kicked out of religion class for playing Tetris on a Gameboy (Yes, I'm That old). She asked for the Gameboy and I made here wait until I finished the level or crashed. Yes I was sent to the Principal over that one. I also convinced her to let us watch The Commitments in class as it was about working class Irishmen in catholic society trying to make a better life for themselves. And again to the office...
Yet the time I set a locker on fire, I had to voluntarily go to the office, no one sent me. Weird...

Unless he's a grad student getting paid to conduct some weird social experiment.
